Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA) plans to launch two initiatives in digital payments field through Saudi Payments Network (MADA), sources reported.

The first initiative will be related to activating the online purchase through MADA's bank cards, including e-commerce purchases through international and local websites, the sources added.

The second initiative will be related to launching payment through smart devices via near-field communication (NFC) technology, as well as activating payment on all bank cards issued in Saudi Arabia, including credit cards.
